Flyer Families-

As our season comes to a close, it is time to prepare for board elections. This will take place on Tuesday April 7th  from 12:00-8:00pm.  We ask that each family reserve this date now. Please make this a priority and take just a few minutes to come by the rink to place your vote. There are two open positions: incumbents Doug Throener and Mike Szolek are both eligible for re-election.   We sincerely thank these board members for their faithful service and extended time invested in our program!

If you are interested in getting involved with the Fremont Flyers Ice Association and the board of Directors, there are two requirements that need to be met in order to run for a position. First, all candidates for Elected Directors must submit a written “Statement of Candidacy” to the Association Secretary (Mike Szolek- mszolek@gmail.com) no later than Monday March 23rd, 2020. The Statement of Candidacy must declare the candidate’s intention to serve, if elected, and must state that the candidate is not under discipline or suspension by the Association, the Mid West Amateur hockey Association, or USA Hockey. Second, please see the attached Bio. We need all candidates to take a few minutes to help voters understand your role in our program and your desire to serve in this position. 

All candidate bio’s will be posted and shared with all members to assist in voting decisions by March 28th . Again, save the election date now as April 7th  from 12:00 - 8:00pm as it important that each family in our Flyers program participate.
