Dear Parents,

In light of the current COVID-19 situation, and with the goal of slowing community spread as encouraged by our local, state and federal government leaders, the Fremont Family YMCA will be closing our facilities and programs, with the exception of child care, effective at 6 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

In order to be cost efficient in managing the ice arena, we will be removing the ice effective March 18.  All ice programming is cancelled for the remainder of the spring season.   If you are currently enrolled in a program, we will issue a credit, or if necessary, a refund. Or, please consider donating the remaining credit to the YMCA to help us sustain financial security during this turbulent time.

We will be closely monitoring the situation to determine a safe and acceptable reopening date of the YMCA facilities, with the exception of the Sidner Ice Arena. We will communicate operational updates as we determine the appropriate course of action. While this closure includes all facilities including the ice arena, wellness centers and pool operations, our day care and Fun Days programs will remain open in order to provide emergency child care to parents who still have to report into work.

Thank you for your understanding.  We appreciate you as a member of our YMCA community!

Sincerely,
