INTRO TO HOCKEY

Is your child interested in learning the basic skills to play hockey?  Would you like the opportunity for your child to try hockey before committing to a league?  If you answered yes to either of these questions then Intro to Hockey is the perfect program for you.  This 5 week program teaches kids the necessary skating, stick handling, shooting and passing skills needed to participate in the sport of hockey.  Once your child has completed one session, our coaches and directors will be happy to help you decide whether your child is ready to participate in the league or continue to take Intro to Hockey classes.

Cost: $50 per session for Fremont YMCA Members  

$75 per session for non-Fremont Y Members   - Due the first night of the session (cash, credit card or check paid at the rink)

• Open to any youth ages 12 and younger
• All equipment is provided if needed
• Class will be limited to 40
• Mondays 5:15-5:45pm (please  have child ready for on-ice activity at 5:15)

Session 1- September 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24

Gear Checkout- NEW THIS SEASON-- The Gear Checkout will be done on an individual basis.  If your child is in need of gear, please call Angie to schedule a time to check out gear 402-753-0200.  Gear needs to be checked out prior to the first night of class!  Gear will not be available for checkout on 9/26.
