Our third camp is here! Revolution Hockey Camps have been growing tremendously in popularity in Fremont and Omaha, and we are proud to offer another development camp on this year’s Presidents day! Our camp is one day and open to the first 15 players who register online. Our camp provides players with the opportunity to build their skillset portfolio before heading into their playoffs, championship runs, and even making the higher-level team next season. This special opportunity only costs one day of your time, following the format below:

On the ice, players will experience a curriculum that involves explosive and reactive styles of training as well as a review of fundamental skills. For the first hour of practice, players will experience drills that reactivate simple habits that every good hockey player has. Players will do this while working on edgework, puck control, and power skating. The second hour of the session will apply the skills practiced in the first hour but with the mindset of in-game application. Players will participate in drills to react in game-like situations and make decisions based on their options at that particular moment. One of the many concepts we will focus on is deception and puck control. Additionally, we will simultaneously apply the defensive side of this training for players to learn both the offensive and defensive sides of the puck.
Our dryland sessions have taken our most athletic participants by surprise thus far. There is a distinct difference between being physically in shape and being ‘hockey’ in shape. Primarily, hockey players must have a solid core strength, as well as good coordination and speed. Our one off-ice session will be a workout comprised of exercises that hockey players should do daily. These workouts, built by some of the best kinesiologists in the game today, will expose hockey players to new levels of development, making them utterly dominant on the ice.
Our only classroom session will teach our players and goalies to control their emotions and reactions to situations on the ice. Teaching the players breathing exercises, powerful visualization, and focus exercises will give them the confidence to believe in themselves the way they should. All individuals should be their own most extensive critique, but also their own most significant support mechanism. If individuals can remain in control during highly stressful situations, they will have a better chance of bringing the outcome they want to reality.
