In recent history, several of our squirt teams have attended. This will be the 42nd Annual edition of the tournament.

Since the very first Squirt International in 1985, Fargo Youth hockey programs have hosted the Squirt International tournament, the largest single level youth hockey tournament in the country with 256 Squirt teams from all over the United States and Canada participate over 4 weekends in February.

In 2025, 3,639 players competed in the tournament. States and Provinces represented have been: ND, MN, SD, MT, IA, WA, CO, TX, AZ, CA, WI, IL, NC, NE, WY, OK, IN, FL, KS, MO, AK, GA, TN, NV, MB, SK and ON.

Due to the number of entries the Squirt International is a selection based tournament, meaning no team is guaranteed entry upon registration, making it extra special when our teams attend. Previous Fremont Ice Association Entries in recent history include:

• 2021 - Squirt Gold in B
• 2023 - Squirt Gold in B1
• 2024 - Squirt Gold in B1 and Squirt Silver in C
• 2026 - Squirt Gold in B1 (Feb. 12-15)  and Squirt Silver in Squirt C
