Midwest Releases 2026 Player Development Dates
The affiliate for the Fremont Ice Association, Midwest Amateur Hockey Association, has announced information regarding player development opportunities for both male and females.
These are required and focused on 2009-2012 birth years. The process is different for males and females so please read the details carefully:
2026 Midwest Select Boys Player Development Tryouts
The Midwest BOYS Select Player Development Camp tryouts will be held April 3-4, 2026.
This camp is for players in birth years 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 who live or play in the MWAHA Affiliate (Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Kansas City area of Missouri).
2009 and 2011 Birth year tryouts in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at:

USA Hockey Girls Central District Player Development 2026
USA Hockey Central District Girl’s Tryout for 2026 will be held at Arctic Ice in Orland Park, IL April 10-12, 2026. All USA Hockey registered female skaters that wish to try out for USA Hockey National Select Camps as well as the Central District Development Camp MUST attend this tryout to be evaluated.
This is an OPEN tryout; any female residing in the Central District (WI, IL, MO, KS, NE, IA) are eligible to participate. In 2025, over 475 girls participated in the tryout, register between February 1 and February 15 to secure a spot. Registration will be limited to the following birth years: 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009
