Our High School JV and Varsity teams compete in the Midwest High School Hockey League with against 13 other cities and towns throughout Nebraska, Kansas and Iowa. The league features 32 full-length games and must qualify for the league tournament, which takes place in Des Moines. There are multiple practices per week.
The purpose of the Midwest High School Hockey League (MHSHL) is to provide organized hockey for high school students. The League will aspire to the following slogan: “Competitive high school hockey scoring big on family and academic values.”
Our High School Tigers team competes in the Omaha High School Club League against other Omaha, Lincoln and Kearney "club/house" teams. The league features 26 one-hour games and a year-end tournament with one practice per week.
The league is administered and operated by Omaha Hockey Club. Games will be played under the rules of USA Hockey. In addition, the High School Director's office may modify or supplement the USA Hockey rules with local rules applicable to games involving the high school league teams, as appropriate, to carry out the objectives of Omaha High School Hockey League.
